I Can Hear You
Designing horror is one thing—controlling it in real time is another. I Can Hear You, a real-life game by Entered, let us do both. Working alongside Gloeidraad and Entered, we pioneered a new kind of interactive experience.
Our task? To design and implement remote-controlled, reactive audio for a live actor whose sole purpose is to terrify. Every breath, every distorted whisper, every sudden jolt of sound and music is carefully timed to manipulate tension, playing with the players’ sense of space, time, and safety (or lack thereof). The result? A horror game where YOU are the protagonist!
With I Can Hear You, we pushed the boundaries of interactive horror, proving that the scariest things aren’t just what you see—but what you hear… or more so; what hears you.
